O.P. Live Messenger Freezing/Stuttering
Recently, I took a trip to a friend's for a week or so. Upon returning, I've found that Windows Live Messenger has suddenly gained the habit of freezing when I open the program, begin a new conversation, etc. Furthermore, the program also stutters while I'm typing a message fairly often. The freezes last anywhere from 2-5 minutes and the stutters probably no more than 30 seconds.
The truly bizarre part of it all is that the identical Windows Live Messenger program works perfectly fine on my laptop.
For reference, the affected computer is running Windows 7 on an Intel Pentium G620 processor w/ 4GB RAM.
