As it often is the case soon after a major release, a small update is now available that fixes a couple of bugs found by some users. Messenger Plus! 3.61 is now available and everybody is encouraged to download it without delay
. Because several problems were found in some third party Messenger Plus! plugins used in MSN Messenger 7.5, this version of Messenger Plus! also disables all plugins automatically when an upgrade is performed. You can then re-enable the plugins you want but remember that if an error occurs, plugins are the first thing you should try to disable.
On a side note, because the custom sounds feature is still growing in popularity, a new tool called Messenger Plus! Sound Library Fixer is now available. Created by long time helpers of the Messenger Plus! community, this tool repairs your sound library if files were corrupted or if you uninstalled Messenger Plus! and deleted your sound library along with it.
