same thing, you press it every time a new song starts?? there is no point on displaying a song you were playing ONCE UPON THE TIME, the idea is to display the current song

and to do that you would have to do the shortcut key EVERY TIME a new song starts

Why on earth would you want your display name to change every time a new song comes on? In fact, why would you want your display name as what song you're playing at all?

In FACT, why can't you just use your damn name. Custom names are the best invention since sliced bread

thats a good question, you know what else is a good question, why on earth would you read a thread called winamp song for nick if you think its so useless??

To comment on how annoying it is when contacts /nick every 3 minutes and always sign in with song long bs display name and you have no idea who it is.

Which is exactly what custom display names (plus, of course) and display-by-email mode are for.

but is there any way that you can make it so that it donsn't dake the focus of of the current window?
when i am typing in word or anywhere, it changes the focus off of the application, and my typing just stops
so could you make it so that it did the change very wuickly so that the focus was returned to the current widow?
