In the Messenger Plus! preferences under Instant Messages>General Options, there's a function where you can enable your contacts to be automatically accepted when they request things like viewing my webcam and what not...

The problem is, this doesn't seem to work for me. I have that function enabled (with all my contacts having the ability to do this), but it still won't work.

My contacts will request to see my webcam, and I have to manually accept them. Is it just me?

It should work... What language is your Messenger? (I don't know for sure if this matters, but I do remember similar problems and this question also came up...)

I have the the English version of Messenger Plus (v. 3.01.94)

sorry, I meant the language of MSN Messenger....

And what Windows version do you use?
And are you sure you've also selected "accept from all users" in the auto-accept selection list, or that your contact is in that list?

I managed to find other posts referring to the same problem here.

Turns out, there are compatibility issues with this function on the version of Windows in which you have.

I just tried this out with 2 computers, one running with WindowsXP, the other with Windows98 (the one I'm having problems with). With the function enabled, it'll only work for the user on an XP operating system rather than 98.

Hopefully, this issue will be addressed in an upcomming version of Messenger Plus!
