Been a while no?

Anyway, it seems the graphics card (I've learned alot about this scrap pile in the last few days, it has a hidden DVD player!) is an Nvidia "Vanta"... Whatever that is.

I've replaced the nvdisp.drv with the one from the cabs, failed to change anything. I'm updating the driver now, but it'll take a while on my 28.8 modem (downloading right now at... 2.25 kilobytes per second). I'll update again when it's done (in an hour).

Maybe it's my fault, I can't remember now.

But the issue was resolved... so far.

I looked through the registry, and found a key called "patchou" it had Plus! Keys. Ripped that out, opened Messenger (which I had already ripped/reinstalled), and issue was resolved.

Now I'll reinstall Plus! with the updated video drivers, and see if anything changes this time (It's good to finally have Messenger back).

[EDIT: I say it may be my fault because I can't remember if I removed Plus! from add/remove programs, though I believe (60%) that I did.]
