I don't think so, but i'm not sure. :P

With a blog don't you install some kinda script? Surely they is a standard policy with that?

When you have a blog, you will probally be using some software/script for it. Unless you hace made a complete blogging system yourself ofcourse.

Most blogging systems have there own default ploicies/disclaimer, you can use that one, or one from another website and slightly modify it to your needs :).

That's what I meant all along :P But what if the creator of the website I'm copying it from written it themselves? Should I ask permission?

It's never a bad thing to ask permission when copying something.

Anyway, when your text doesn't refer to anything which is owned by the site you copied from it isn't bad to just copy (and modify it) for your own use. With things they own i mean sites/pages/brandnames/trademarks/products and stuff like that, you don't want their stuff to appear in your disclaimer anyway :).
