GMT is in DST now, so you were one hour early. BUT you released it 8:00 in UTC wich is the new GMT, but it doesn't have UTC. So you were both right and wrong. And so was everyone else. Everybody is happy!

in that case why my sig said "plus 3 will be released in 15 minutes..." when you had already released it? (and in my sig I used the [coundown] tag with the GMT time)

Not so precisely, I'm afraid. The releas was at GMT 7:00AM.
However, it was GMDST 8:00AM at that point. But GMDST is not GMT
