Hi all, hi Patchou !

I know I am damn late for this thingie, but I had a misunderstanding with a friend of mine, wich caused this much delay of Albanian translation for Plus!3.

I finished it today. I spend all the day and can't feel my fingers. Such a big text...

However, I enjoyed Plus! 3 more than ever, it's the best MSN addon ever !!!

I tried to attach Lang_Albanian.ini but it said that it exedeed size limit so I decided to upload it to my website:

I would like from Patchou to put it in MsgPlus-300.exe setup, so the translation can start from Setup to Messenger Plus!. I am very thankful to you and others. You Rock !!

Bassreflex, I've told you before to check your translation before you submit it. This a very poor translation, certainly not worthy to be included in Plus!3, in my opinion...
In every window I look I've found errors. Here that quick-list of all the errors I've found...

Doublecheck your translation for:
- Double spaces. (<space><space> instead of <space>)
- Inconsequent stuff, like <space>:, : or points at the end of sentences in some titles and no points in other titles.

Cookie, how do you get those extense and complete reports about translations? It's really amazing

Well, these errors I've found by:

A) Clicking thru the preferences (and every button and menu, and other dialogs) and looking at the texts. You spot it right away if sentences are too long because you see only half of the text at the end.
And for other sentences/labels where you don't see anything wrong at first sight, you can get a hint that the text is too long if they don't contain a ":" at the end. The same for other normal sentences when they don't contain a "." at the end...

B) Useing Choli's translator for a check for forgotten/misspelled topics and keys. (I can't stress enough on how important that application is for translators )

C) And for some errors I look specificly, like OriginalFormat, CurrentLanguageA, Def1Cmd, EnableCheck, etc...


Actually writing the "report" takes 10 times longer then checking for all those things...

Omg, but the list of things that don't fit is damn long... I mean, you must've been searching the file all the time... It's too much...

I knew I would have so much mistakes, it was such a quick translating. I submitted it before checking completely becuase I was scared Patchou wouldn't include it if I delay it even more. But I'll correct all those things and I'll post it again.

you submitted it about 12 hours after plus was released... how did you want patchou include it??

I've tried to shorten these as long as I could. I had to make some exeptions like at... [Original]: Status [My style]: Stat. 

I just had to this, there wasn't any other way to shorten it more, otherwise it would lose complete meaning. However, I checked and fixed everything you mentionet at your first post. You really are great... I mean that way of exposing my errors just helped me a lot , really ! Thanks a lot Cookie !

erm.. yes I know. And I feel embarresed about it. It was just a misunderstanding between me and my friend, he said he would do the translation then he left many things behind. However, that's very fixed now ! I would apprecciate a LOT !! if Patchou could in anyway redesign MsgPlus!-300.exe and put in Albanian language. I repeat I know I'm really late about this but that's how it just happenned. I think this can be done.

he'll put your translation in the next version. meanwhile, albanian users can download and use your translation from your link. please, don't remove it or attach the file here, at the forums.

But first, Bassreflex, I could well have missed some errors. I only gave a "quick" list of the things I've found in the time I had at hand. It's your job to test every single bit of the translation to make sure

first thing:

I know I said that CurrentLanguageA should be Shqip, but I didn't say that you had to switch it with CurrentLanguageM So, in other words, it should be:
CurrentLanguageA=Shqip
CurrentLanguageM=Shqip


Double spaces
The double space are still there. Open up your translation in notepad or something and search for double spaces
