O.P. Huh?  Bios help
I updated my bios with a program that came with the mother board and the update went perfect. But when I went to go restart my computer nothing showed up. It don't even start the bios. Would any one know of any way to reset my bios or maybe even recover it. My mother boad is a ASUS K8V SE Delux.

I hope I dident reck it. :(


And I have already contacted ASUS just to let you know. Just thought I post here in hope of a faster resopnse.

Head for your motherboard manual, and search for a jumper that cleans CMOS. That will reset your BIOS and CMOS settings back, I assume :)

If you want something more violent, just take the motherboard battery away for two or three seconds, and put it back. :P

After flashing the BIOS, you MUST reset it before booting the computer again.

Haha, that made me laugh.  Yeah, the task is a bit more complex
and brutal, but it works. :]


Luckily I've never had a problem with BIOS.
