Halo 2 Cover Design Contest!
Well, after seeing the Half-Life 2 cover design contest, I decided to make my own Halo 2 cover design contest. I don't like the final Halo 2 cover image tbh...it looks too much like a cartoon. Anyways, go ahead and try your luck, I mean what more could you want? It's a Gmail invite and more!


RULES
- Entries will NOT be accepted unless they match these dimensions: front [355x500] - side [40x500] - back [355x500] (A template to make this easier can be found HERE)
- Entries MUST be for the XBOX version (Halo 2 is NOT comming out for PC)
- Entries MUST be posted in this thread
- Entries MAY be modified up to the closing date and time, entries modified after that will be disqualified.
- Entries will not be accepted after 11:59:59 PM forum time on September 9th 2004, and the contest winner will be revealed on September 13, 2004 (I am going to consider every entry very carefully ).
- The description on the back of the cover DOES count for extra Kudos
- The best format for entries is JPEG if hosted on these forums, or BMP if it is hosted on an outside server.
- All questions may be PM'd to me
- It would help greatly in delivering prizes if you could PM me your contact email
- All entries MUST contain some kind of graphic/concept art/depiction/screenshot from Halo 2. Resources can be found at:

Prizes(subject to change[the gmail invites will not change ])


- First place entry will recieve 2 Gmail (http://www.gmail.com) invites, and some....hush hush...Halo 2 information!

- Second place will recieve 1 Gmail invite, and some....hush hush...Halo 2 information!

- Third place will recieve a Gmail invite!

- One Gmail invite MAY also be awarded to a cover I find deserving (e.g. hand drawn)

Lastly: The template IS in .GIF format, but that is to keep the file size ultra low, I HIGHLY suggest you use .JPG, .JPEG, .BMP or .PNG format for entries (if hosted on the forums, I suggest .JPG or .JPEG.) The reason being that .GIF is a VERY low quality image.

I am good with graphics, but what's the point of making an entry for my own contest?

im gona ty getting my friend to enter so that she can get the invite, she is a damn good artist

its not about the art, its about the photoshop, maybe even paint skills.

If i still had Fireworks id do it but now i only have PSP and its sorta hard to use for me oh well i might give it a crack
