That kind of restarts are usually related with overheating

BTW, have you disabled restarting after a BSOD (Blue Screen Of Death)? (Control Panel > System >  Advanced options > Third Configuration button > uncheck Restart automatically). It could give useful information.

About the firewall, the Security Center doesn't detect all firewalls.
