I like this idea, purly because its kool ..  but just because someone likes the idea of something, doesn't always mean it should be done. Im not saying it shouldn't be done, but if it was i think more thought should be put into it.

As for the "whats illigal" situation. Firstly, your on the bloody webcam to begin with, and if there is something you wouldn't want recorded then you shouldn't be doing it anyway. On the other hand, recording is a lot different as its stored footage. Which can be sent to other people, uploaded.. ect ect..  and im thinking this is one of the reasons people have said it would be an idea to send an "Acceptance" of the recording to the contact before making it possible. And although this is a good idea, there is always ways around these things isnt there

Anyway, im not going to vote yes or no, because i dont really care that on wether someone should make it.. because there is already programs out there that do this, just with some configuration and settings ect.. this would just be an alternative.

but its something new.. and would be something id get.. i guess

i think its a good idea to make a webcam Capture Plugin, yahoo has one dont it?

Look this would have my vote, yes i know there are screen capture programs but these are anoying and time consumign especaially as you cant mvoe your window then.  I think this would really be popular! A simple plugin where you could select your codec and record ina  few button strokes it would be marvolous!

But wats the point, its a bit creepy n e wayz.  the person on the webcam might not know that ur recording it which would be creepy, the reason some people want this is so they can record some poor chic flashing her self on the webcam so they can pound it while watching the recorded video.

you just have a pervert mind, that's not our primary objective with the plugin
