So my question is. I have an extreme amount of people on my msgr list. After hours of running, my computer tends to SEVERLY start slowing down, it feels like an old 386DX. Especially Msgr it takes 5 minutes to get a msg, if i uninstall plus everything is fine. i would say its either me or my computer except for the fact, that network administrator is my career so im very concious on whats on my computer, and i would say its not my computer becuase its a dual xeon, with 4 GB of high performance RAM. Im wondering if this is a known bug, if its becuase im running dual monitors, i figured maybe it has something to do with dropping my list on the second monitor or something. some insight into this would be great.

im running the newest version of each msgr and plus

-thanks Chad
Possible you might have installed the Optional Sponsor program, if that is not the case do you have any Plugins installed on your PC. To check open the main contact list and click Plus! > Preferences > Plugins

I use MSN 7.0.0332
Plus: 3.40

Bug: If I have plus! running and MSN too, with no sponsor or anything installed MSN becomes EXTREMLY slow!
It takes like a minute to open a conversation window instead of opening them instantly.

If I close Plus! all is normal??? ^o)

Seems to be a small memory leak from what I can see. Another bug is if you end the process of MsgPlus.exe all features of Plus! still work cause Plus! is hooked into MSN Messenger thus until you close MSN Messenger Plus! still basically runs.

Not a bug. This has always been the case; it is how Plus! works. By killing the process you don't kill the already hooked Plus!, you only kill the process which checks if MSN Messenger is loaded and which starts the hooking of Plus!.

To completely "kill" Plus! you need to exit Messenger also.
