"Desert Garden" by Vast, "Skull" by Sebadoh, "Drifting" by Pearl Jam, "Maybe Another Day" by Punch Monday, and "Jesus Ect." by Wilco are some of my favorites. Some other good musicians are Apocalyptica and Jorane. (actaully, going to a jorane concert on thursday *w00t* ). OLP, Incubus, BNL, and Keane are somewhere on the list aswell (plus a bunch more.. but i'm lazy).

and the downloading in canada thing: its legal to download music, but it illegal to host the download (upload). So the person sending the music is at fault, not the person downloading the music
