This is apparently not possible for free Live MSN Hotmail mail account

my @msn.com is a free account, haven't checked in a while, but seem to remember that my @live account also forwards.

Don't understand how to use it or what to do with it. Just downloads files which have no extension. Opened them in Wordpad to read but no instructions?

Problem I will find with that is, the Hotmail inbox is going to build up and say "you have xxx unread messages". Don't know about you but I'll find that annoying . Probably no way around it.

forwarded mail doesn't apear in your hotmail inbox, just go straight to the forwarded account

Well, you have to download and decompress a file called GetLive_0_57.tgz (you'll find a .txt file that explains the usage of GetLive ).  I tested GetLive using Ubuntu and it worked fine :D

What you basically have to do is create a "config-file" with your account details

I'm guessing you have to register the domain with Windows Live Custom Domains.

How can I do if I do not own the domain of the addresse I want to forward to?
