IMO, I think the reason people yawn in groups is because they can partially hold a yawn in, but once someone yawns they think its ok to let it out. Its like on irc, once someone shows thier computer uptime or whatever, other people think its ok to do it too because someone just did it.

i think there is more to it than that Shawnz..ppl yawn without them knowing they are going to do it..its not that ppl want to let it go..there is nothing let out or go..you intake more air thats all but we just dont know why people yawn or why do ppl yawn when someone lese yawns
