Is there a way that i can take a USB device and make it wireless so that i can have it farther away from my computer?

I don't think so, at least directly. You can, however, connect it to other compuler and link the computer via wireless...

i find that useless... you will need an adapter for the usb device, that supplies it the needed power (that may be up to 500 mA). And it only works in 10 meters... I think it's better to plug the usb device directly to the PC.

Oh well...At least less cabling which is very nice..BUT:

It will probably consume more energy, cause more interferencies ( i dont know if this will really happen because they didnt tell more details ).

Sounds promising, I mean is gonna be better that bluetooth even if its just faster, and the distance thing will be resolved I would imagin in later releases. I got a bluetooth dongle i paid top whack for here and its snail pace slow for transfering date.
