O.P. Huh?  Song playing when a contact signs in
Can someone suggest an application/plugin that will start an mp3 song each time a certain contact signs in? I know that Plus! can do that via notifications/sound events , but I'm looking for a specific application that has more options like unlimited play, differents songs for each contact, or even name the contact when it sign in, etc. Thanks.

I don't know of any program that can do it myself, but i wonder why you want it... if 2 people sign in after eachother it starts playing 2 MP3's at the same time? :/
Finish the problem

No program would include unlimited play of the song and release it because it would be really annoying. Even worse if like 2 or more sign in.
You can set different songs on sign in for each contact

You could make a plugin that takes the display name of the contact and then used the computer's MS speech function to read it, you could even have it filter out emoticons and the like, so that it read what was accurate.

There was a thread similar to this not long ago. It suggested something about editing the registry to alter the length of time that the songfile actually played for when it was set as a custom sign-in notification for a contact.

I'll see if I can find it.

Mnjul's reply to "Notifications" and "Sound Events" features not working properly

Yes, I created that thread, but Plus! only allows to alter the registry and place a maximum of 140seconds or so of playtime. Also for some reason sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't , it's not a very reliable performance...
