if you live in the UK, you can't buy it of iTunes.

This is something that really annoys me, people get pissy when we download it of bittorrent, but we have no choice, there is no legal way to get it in the UK.
There are no DVDs out, its not on TV, we can't get it of iTunes.

They should really launch TV shows internationally at the same time, like they did with Desperate Housewives (Series 1 was only 2 episodes behind). They do that in Ireland a lot.

Either way, afaik its legal to download TV shows as long as they haven't aired in the country you are downloading it.

I'm not trying to be pissy about it In your case I say go for it. But keep in mind it is still illegal because it's still protected by international copyright law.
