With WLM yes... but they're called add-ins... MP!L no... scripting will be in it's place.

Addins, plugins and scripts are three different things.

Plugins are the additional snippets which programmers can make in Plus!3.

Scripts are the equivalent of that for Plus!Live.

Addins have got nothing todo with Messenger Plus!. Addins are program snippets which developpers can add directly to Windows Live Messenger. It is a new feature.

"C:\Program Files\MSN Messenger" ? Why installed folder name is still "Msn Messenger"?

Because it is programmed that way...

Reason would probably be for backward compatibility. And since Messenger does not support polygamy (running of more than one messenger) by default, it is logically that a previous version is overwritten with a newer version instead of being installed in a different directory (so people don't get confused as to run what)...

Answer can better be answered by Microsoft/Messenger developpers though. You can always ask this question as a feedback on Windows Messenger Live.

There isn't any chance of us getting a Public Beta? Like it was announced later by Patchou itself?

Probably no point now because as someone said in the 'shout box' (forget whoever it was- made a good point tho) they now need to test the plus beta works with the finished WLM. They knew the plus beta worked with the wlm beta which is why they were going to release the beta.

I'm guessing plus live will be released in under a week or so. Which isn't that bad at all, unless something major crops up between the new WLM and the beta and needs a lot of time to fix.

I'm going to wait. Messaging without plus is like a roast dinner without peppercorn sauce. It works but it doesnt taste as nice.

you saying this Build  thats out on mess.be posted links etc comming from MS arent the final Build?

The version I got from messenger.live.com has the new sounds (EDIT: relistened to it and they are the ones from 7.5 just didn't have the sound up before sorry) and is 14.5MB rather than the 15.6MB download that is linked on mess.be, though they say they are the same version.
