Trying to remove partition on my hard drive. Any suggestions? I have went in through computer management and deleted partition there. I would like to bring the both halves of my drive back together, reformat and reinstall windows with no partitions.

Boot from you Windows XP CD and follow the prompt to firstly unpartition and then format you computer before re-installing. If it had have been a partition between 2 parts of a hard drive that didn't have windows installed on it then you would be able to unpartition it through computer management.
