O.P.  Pentium D or Core 2 Duo?
Right, well since my PC died, i need to get a new one.
Im stuck on chosing what to get, a Pentium D, or a Core 2 Duo. I have roughly £150 to spend on the Processor, but i dont know what to choose.
I can go for the following:
What one should i choose?

intel core 2 quad 
actually amd is better but they wont start shipping quad cores till mid this year ;<

edit: is the p4 dual core? it says (2 x 3.00GHz Core Speed) but doesnt say dual core like the other one =/ if not, wat does it mean?

the Pentium is Dual core aswell.. Im just stuck with what one to choose..
I was gonna get a E6700, but that was before my PC died, and now im PC-less so i need to replace it asap.
