hey,

since this moring i have been having very very anoying pop-ups, they come every 2 mins or so, i have ran spybot and McFee virus scan, everything that came up i shreaded. i am still have pop-ups . the most anyoing thing is that they are pornnography ones...well some are, and it looks like i am on the site if my mum was to come in....

any yes my pop up blocker is on lol

can anyone suggest anything i could try ?

EDIT: have just noticed that all seem to have 'cid:' then the title of the pop up page. this might indicate something but i do not know what

Well... I don't know how to get rid of it ... but to prevent it from happening again...

i dont think i did anything

i might just try restoring the laptop to how it was the day i got it. if worste come to the worste, once i get my vista upgrade pack from dell ( hopefully this week,mabay next) i will format anyway.

i think its just spyware that's really hard to get rid of my friend had it, and he used this trend-micro online virus scanner for it. google it and its free.
