O.P. svchost.exe 100% CPU on startup
Each time I'm starting up my computer, svchost.exe use 99% of my CPU for like 5 minutes. If I try to end the process with task manager, the sounds don't work anymore on my computer so could someone help with this problem

RE: svchost.exe 100% CPU on startup
Hello,

It happens on XP & Vista.

So it doesn't really matter. So the whole i'm glad vista crashed im back on XP. Doesn't really solve anything.

Unless you rebuild your PC with XP. (althou rebuilding with either OS fixes it also sometimes.)

Here is a nice fix.

should do it for you, Aimed at XP. Althou i thing the folders r in same location in vista also.

Windows svchost fix.

IT happens when windows searches for updates. so disable automatic updates work fine. If u go do manual up date same issue appear but the link above should fix it.

MS have released an updated patch and WSUS 3 for manual download on their site (read this on KezNews) maybe you can go searching about there....?

The fix i give you is correct fix. the download on my site (the article i linked you 2)

is the fix. tried and tested on 17 PCs/Laptops. in past 3-4weeks.

Download is the windows update client v3(newly released)

WSUS 3 has nout to do with anything. You use that if you in a company. Plus the issue is client side, the link in my post above will resolve your issue.
