O.P. How to choose which contacts I want to be notified
Hello there.

I was searching for some Plus! scripts but found nothing who could help me with what I want. I thought it was a simple thing, but it looks much more complicated :P

I have quite a list of contacts, however, I only regulary talk and/or care about some of them (lol). So, it's kind of annoying to have all those other contacts to pop-up the "Contact has logged in." message. I know I could just simply delete or block them, but I don't want that, since I may need to talk to them from time to time. Anyway, reasons aside, the point is: is there a way to choose which contacts I want to be notified about, when they login?

Thanks!

Right click contact > Messenger Plus! Features > Events Notifications > Create New Notification

But that only allows me to choose different sounds/messages of login for those contacts. It doesn't allow me to choose NO sounds/message at all. Or does it...? ^o)

The solution is pretty simple :

1- Go in the messenger options, and go in the alerts and sounds tab.
Uncheck the
"Display alerts when contact comes online" and the
"Display alert when a message is received".

2- Go in the Messenger Plus! event notifications : Right click contact > Messenger Plus! Features > Events Notifications > Create New Notification
and create the notifications you want for the special contacts.

Oh.
For no one:
Tools > Options > Alerts and Sounds > Untick "Display alerts when contacts come online" and "Display alert when a message is received"
EDIT: damn beaten :P
