Here's the drill :

I have a laptop, and I need to establish a connection with LAN ports on both desktop and laptop, to actively exchange data via share, and also have internet on my laptop using my desktop as an access point.

I've seen someone done this before, and I want to do so on both my machines !

any recommendations? guides?

Connect the two computers, bridge the LAN and Internet connection on the desktop. Google search if you need more specific information.
