O.P. New computer
I'm looking for a new computer in Canada and I found this
http://www.bestbuy.ca/catalog/proddetail.asp?logo...091608&catid=20217

I don't really know weather gateway is a good name or not. I need some help choosing. I don't want any Acer. I don't really know about HP and no Macs, too expensive. Nothing over 800 and only in Canada, thanks

gateway is going it/already is purchased by acer ;p

it doesnt really matter who the manufacturer is as long as the specs are good.

the computer you linked to is good, except maybe for new games because the gpu is onboard

Not so true... My laptop has pretty good specs, 512MB gpu, 2GB of ram, dual 2 core etc. but the quality of the chassis sucks balls. And over time you can see the wear and tear. So sometimes it does depend on the manufacturer

Wait: I am going slightly off topic. We are not even talking about laptops... but oh well :p

Meh..

Outdated processor, crappy graphics card, no annouced ram latency.. I think you shouldn't go with that computer, even for that budget you can get a better system..

We can pick the parts for you, and trust me it's pretty easy to assemble computers.
