Whenever i download the new plus live with windows live messenger 10 installed already on my computer, it will download but then wont start up messenger 10.. And even when I try to open up messenger myself it wont open..

I thought both of these were meant to be compatible with eachother.. so why arent they working??

There is no such version 10.

the latest version (which is in private beta) is version 9

So your a beta a tester? Hard to believe. Well since its betas ect down load 8.5 then the latest version of plus. Problem solved.

Its also worth noting that support for Windows Live Messenger 9 is currently considered BETA, even in the final version of Messenger Plus! Live 4.50.  That being said, if it doesnt work, it likely will when WLM9 support is finalized.
