Is it possible to install latest wlm without having sp2/vista?

Is there a fix or something?

I'm running on Windows XP Professional SP1 - and it isnt possible for me to upgrade to SP2 because something has changed from my registry/original files.

Reinstall Windows? Then upgrade to SP2

I'm planing to do so as a last resort BUT i dont have the CD/serial/anything (a friend of mine installed it on here) and i'm hoping there is a fix or something..

You can retrieve your current CD key from your computer with a free program from NirSoft.

I have a few extra unused keys if absolutely necessary (educational licence keys ftw)
