O.P. looking for a function
i'm looking for a set of functions that will allow me to:
  • see what group(s) a contact is in
  • move/copy/remove a contact to/from a group
  • see which contacts are in a certian group
  • see a list of all group names

i can't find them in the scripting docs, but i've seen a few scripts that have group controls, so i was wondering if anybody had some custom functions

RE: looking for a function
Scripts can't do anything with groups.  Noone has found a reliable method to use to extract or change group data (as far as i am aware).  Hence this is an adequate reason as to why we don't have these options.
