If you want a good valued powerfull but still very portable laptop, id defintly go for the Asus M50SV. Its an excellent laptop.

i absolutely hate the "nipple". My current thinkpads nipple is all weird and just starts moving on its own...I prefer touch pads, they are much easier to work with.

So true. My thinkpad is like an electric blanket on full blast, it heaps up really quickly =/. Oh and dont forget heavy...

well prices are different in every country, some places parts/systems are cheaper and some other countries are more expensive. Also seeming as the person who started this thread isnt from Australia, MSY wouldnt help...
