Does anyone know of a free program to convert a vcd to avi free?

i'd google it but i figured that maybe one of you knew of one already

VCD Gear?
tbh i havent used it before but it seems like a good program
or maybe Virtual Dub?

You're probably already done with the converting, but for next time I can recommend Mencoder

Doesn't have a GUI, but i'm sure that won't be that much of a problem
