O.P. Question regarding bandwidth usage and limit.
For the first time in years with rogers, since I got a ps3, i received a notifacation at the top of my internet browser, it was a message from rogers, saying my 60gb bandwidth limit has been reached, and they wont charge me unless i go over it again in june. Lets say I play call of duty 4, on the PS3, (online obviously) would that affect bandwidth, if yes, than by how much?
quote:
Our records show your household has reached 100% of the 60 GB monthly usage allowance provided with your Rogers Hi-Speed Internet Express service.

You will not be charged for additional usage at this time. June will be the first month when usage over your allowance will be billed to you. Most of our customers will see these charges on their July invoice.

It all depends, if you host the game, or just join in on a already hosted game.

They both use a fair amount of b/w but when you host a game it eats your connection :P

Basically, with Rogers I would tell you that you shouldn't worry about the usage of your games :p.

It's not that much anyways

Just playing a normal game online isn't much data at all to worry about, but it becomes something different when you start downloading demos and patches :).
Finish the problem

I don't know exactly, maybe 100MB an hour? Obviously it would vary depending on the game.
