Shoutbox

For the past three days, I've had issues connecting to shoutbox.menthix.net and http://shoutbox.menthix.net. I've had to use my website's proxy in order to do so, because the connection times out. I've gone into cmd and did a ping, and once again the connection timed out. Then several minutes later, bam, it works again.

I don't have any clue as to what's going on, whether it's server side or if it's just me (I can see and access all the other pages I regularly see and access during these times) but if someone has any idea, it'd be greatly appreciated .

At the beginning of writing this post I had the problem, now I can access the forums fine again.

I've had a failed to connect to server error twice on the forums, once yesterday and once day before, I think both were mid morning though I can't really be sure. This wasn't a timeout though, instantly failed to connect.

The forums will then work fine again after a few minutes.

Do a traceroute to msghelp.net and paste.

Edit2: Switched to opendns, all is fine (and much faster ;o).
