O.P. Woke up and my LAN port fried?
The other day, i woke up to no internet!!!
Anyway yeah, i think that my lan port has fried or something because it reckons that a network cable is unplugged, even though it isnt. I know that its not the cable as the cable works in my xbox 360, and also, I tried my xbox 360 cable in my PC and it still didnt work. Just wondering if it could be anything else or if im gonna have to get a new lan port or something? If i did need to get a new lan port or whatever, are they easy to install? and how much are they? or is it easier to send it to my local PC store and have them sort it out for like £40-50

A few things I'd try :

- Enabling/Disabling the device. (Might want to shutdown when you do that).
- Uninstalling/Installing the device.

Mine does this sometimes, what I do is go to the network connections disable the network device (for the wired), and then enable again - but leave the cable in the whole time :)
Touch Innovation - touch friendly programs/applications for the windows mobile!

I'm pretty sure there's something else that someone  a little smarter than me can come up with. But if you decide it's urgent and can't be bothered waiting; a network card is pretty cheap (16$ CAN) here, so I expect to be as cheap in your country. Get one and plug it in there; should actually work.

Thanks, it isnt desperately urgent as i have my dad's wifi adapter. But im going to my pc store today and seeing how much they would charge to fix it, as i have no idea how to install that network card
