When I engage "Messenger Lock" the icon change and all opened messenger conversation windows are closed. The problem is that msgs continue poping up.

That's odd behaviour indeed. It'll help more if you can give us some system specs (Windows version, Messenger version, Plus version, etc etc) and any addons you're using besides Messenger Plus! Live.

Some things that might or might not be of importance:
WinXP SP3, 4GB RAM, NVIdia 8600 GT supporting 2 monitors using both 1680x1050 in dual mode. I've just installed the latest Plus version (4.7). I've tried un/reinstall 3 diferent plus versions. It used to works just fine on my old computer.
