According to this nobody really uses ICQ. I know this is not the whole forum but gives a pritty good idea.

I think we all should get over the discussion, and move on with our lives. If you really care to have someone's Skype/GTalk or whatever, the Private Messaging feature is there for a reason, use it! |

2) Not everyone who looks at your profile would want to add you. Those who'd want to, could just simply send you a PM. |

Actually that would be the best. Being here means you have Messenger Plus! and having Messenger Plus! means you have Windows Live Messenger. So, what about matty's suggestion? |
