O.P. WLM 2009 overrides 3rd party now playing plug-ins???
This is the situation:

I have winamp, and plugin for winamp called gen_msn, and i adjusted it to be {1} - {0}, but when i go see to messenger it's working on {0} - {1}.
{1} stands for artist, {0} stands for song name, but that's irrelevant.

I don't have any additional plugins like now playing plugin for msn plus.

NOTE: That wasn't happening to me while i was using older version (WLM 8.5).

So I came to the CONCLUSION that WLM 2009 has some invisible feature that overrides every 3rd party now playing program, so the output for the "Show what I'm listening to" feature could always be {0} - {1}
{song name} - {artist}

At last, sorry for my bad english and I would like to hear you guys with similar experience, cause i always fail at searching for the problem on the web.

No, its not overriding EVERY 3rd party plugin, Microsoft just finally decided to actually support Winamp natively now. So it will only override 3rd party plugins designed for Winamp.

I cannot hear you. There is a banana in my ear.

Can I get confirmation on this? 09 Doesn't seem to pick up my Winamp. Not natively anyway. I can get it working with dts now playing script, but found msn crashes if Winamp was closed and didn't display the PSM properly in the contact list. Also works with MessengerAmp plugin for Winamp which is what I'm using now. (I lose the song sending options and such, but I no longer crash and the contact PSM is fixed)

I'm using a Toaster plugin for Winamp to display songs currently playing. On my contact list, it only shows <song title> - <artist> (which is annoying, it's not even displaying that properly), but it seems that anyone who's still using an older version of WLM can see whatever format you've defined in your plugin/player/player's plugin.

I can't get WLM to pick up anything from Winamp either, on my laptop using Winamp and WLM without any plugins.
