Because the prevailing opinion here tends to be that Plus! is quite useful.....and somehow I don't think it makes ANY sense to uninstall a program to remove a button (and losing all of the features)....when the program has a feature to remove the button... |

Nobody is forcing you to play the Plus! games in any way! Furthermore, those 'extra' things are not part of the core engine of Messenger Plus!, there is nothing regarding that in the Plus! files you download and install. It are simply extra components, so to speak, you can install and/or allow seperatly.
And as said before, you can turn off the extra buttons (which have been there since a while now) to keep the slick view like it always has been. Nothing is forcing you to have or use those buttons.
