O.P. Links are no longer clickable
I don't know what happened, but links are no longer clickable on WLM 2009. Neither when I send nor when I receive. They just become plain text.

What's going on here?

No, Messenger 2011 integrates with Microsoft SmartScreen filtering, so clicking the bad link in Messenger 2011 would just bring up a warning page by Microsoft instead of directing you to the bad file.

Yes, URLs are not clickable in any Messenger 2009 for now. You should just wait until Microsoft re-enables the feature. :)
