Hi everyone,

im using right now Messenger 2009 (Build 14.0.8117.416)

I had installed WLM 2010 but i dont liked it and deinstalled it and installed 2009 version again.

now i have some problems when friends adding me to their friendslist.
I get no notification !

I havent get any invitations since a half year, maybe someone tried to add me and i havent seen it !

Now i asked a friend to add me and he said he did, but no notifications. I have logged out and in again, restartet msn but nothing.
Than i added him and i could see him.

What is wrong ? Who can help me?

Some time ago i always got fake/spam invitations and allways blocked them and sent to microsoft anti spam team or something. 

than i changed my preferences that only allowed users can see my online status and can send me messages.

I tried to change it again same problem.

Notification box is checked in options.


Hope someone can help me


Scripts running: -color msg 3.2.1 and Name Customizer . but i dont use them.

I got windows 7 and running Kaspersky Internet Security 2010.  Never had problem with it earlier.

I will trie reinstall now, but how can i test if it is working again now ?

what is with old receiving notifications older than some months ? Am i be able to see that notifications again ?

no ideas ? Still got the problem !

This is something that is happening to everyone right now. You will not be prompted at all when someone adds you, both people will need to add each other to your contact lists.

oh, realy ? But why is this so ?  Only with WLM 2009 ?  DAMN Windows Messenger
