After installing Messenger Plus 5 the windows of chat i had opened stop flashing very time my friend talked to me. I just  had to check frecuently but I got tired of that, I really want the flash again.

Well first of all, do you use a program called MSNShell? Or any other Windows Live Messenger add-on?

Does simply removing Messenger Plus! 5 fix the issue? If so, try that and re-install.

I don't use the program that you did mention, MSNShell. I did remove Messenger Plus 5 and re-installing a few times. Even though I installs Messenger Plus 4 and it works perfectly but when i reinstall Messenger Plus 5 it was de same, my messenger stop flashing.
