O.P. msg plus 5 and wlm 8.5
Hello everyone, i am still using wlm 8.5.1302 and msg plus! 4.90, and today i got notification that an update is available for msg plus 5.
So i am wondering if i should update msg plus, and is it working properly with wlm 8.5? i dont want to update wlm, just msg plus if possible. Thanks

As far as I know, MsgPlus 5 is NOT compatible with WLM 2008. Please keep your current 4.90.

Sorry, but Messenger Plus! is no longer and will never support WLM 8.5 and downwards. The only way you'll gain acces to Plus! 5 (and it's awesome features) is if you upgrade WLM. Sorry.

It'd be nice if the installation process mentioned this. I went through the entire install and it never once said "hey, if you install this version of MSG Plus with WLM 8.5 or below, you won't be using MSG Plus".

I use XP 64-bit which isn't supported by newer versions of msn, that's why I've never upgraded. So it's more that I have no choice in the matter but to use WLM 8.5.
