I am trying to add someone to MSN but keep getting a message about a wrong address or wrong form of email address.

He was able to add me BUT only sees me offline even though I am online.

I had another friend add the contact and it went fine.

Very strange

Any ideas what's up?  I use Adium and work on a iMac.

So it's just the one contact you can't add...

Have you got another IM program you can try it on?  Can you add them through another method (e.g. on the Windows Live Profile site)?

I  tried adding them from my macbook and seems to have worked....I will find out later when my friends online (england)...thanks
