so i have been experienceing an issue of late,
msn is fully upgraded, and i have tried installing and reinstalling several times
profile is set to everyone for invites.

though when i go to invite someone it says the system is unavail to process at this time and never sends the invites and on the flip side i never get invites.

i have macphee anti virus installed on a windows 7 computer..

any ideas on what settings need to be adjusted.

Are you able to send/receive invites using Messenger on the web?

i have same problem
i add people and it appear
but when they add it doesn't appear to me i men their request

but when i add them the shoe immediately which mean they were in my email( doesn't take more then 2 sec to show that they are online)
