O.P. Black video recorded
Hello,

I'm trying this new plugins for Skype, but when I click on "register video" the video preview in the little popup window stay black and the result video is black too. The audio is recorded but not the video.

Here is my configuration :
Windows 7 64 with 12Go of RAM, I7 980Xtrem on Asus P6tPro MB.
I'm using 3 monitors on 2 nvidia cards (gtx285) and an USB video converter (USB2.0 ATV converter) to use a Pan/Tilt/Zoom Sony camera (analog video out on RCA connector). The recieved and sent video are HD.

Any idea of my problem ?

Regards

PS : sorry for my bad english

RE: Black video recorded
I am having the same problem.

Skype version
5.8.0.158

Plus version 1.02.0.96

Running on Win 7 Ultimate
Intel 17 3.4Ghz with 6gb ram

When recording the video full screen, it records. When clicking to read/send messages (so video is not full screen), plus records a blank black screen, but does record sound.

RE: Black video recorded
Hi,

To avoid having black videos, please do not minimize Skype using the menu system (upper right of the window).  This is a known limitaton of the current version of Messenger Plus! for Skype.

You can still activate another application (e.g. word, Internet Explorer, etc) from the task bar, or using alt+tab, or simply clicking on the other application, on your computer while recording the video.

Please confirm that this workaround works. Thanks,
