Don't know if this has been suggested before (i searched)/ if this option already exists and i haven't found it jet:

How about an option to search in a specific thread ?
If i want to post something in a thread and don't know if its already been mentioned there, i have to search the whole forum and then i get maybe thirty hits where i have to find the one that i want.

I think it would be better if the "Search in this Thread"panel is added over / under the Quick Reply panel in the thread that you want to search instead of adding it to the Search menu.
What do you think ? Is this possible ?

Here's a picture to show what i mean:

useless. here's why:

1. if you find tons of results using the basic search, it means it has been discussed before. so: no need for making yet another thread.
2. control+F usually works too

Its a nice suggestion , I hate when you are looking for a specific post in a thread and you cant find it if the thread is really long.
