quote:Erm.... ive put the code into the sig, removing the spaces, but it still doesnt show its my surrent sig atm, can you guys see it?? RE: sig pics by ShawnZ on 10-14-2005 at 08:46 PM
I see it fine... quote: quote: because http://http:// redirects to microsoft.com (They must own 'http' as a TLD or something.) RE: sig pics by stoshrocket on 10-14-2005 at 08:48 PM strange, i can't see it at all in FF and it comes up as the unavailable cross in IE, can any1 else actually see my sig?? RE: RE: sig pics by CookieRevised on 10-14-2005 at 09:11 PM
quote:It redirects to an MS site because you (or a program he once executed) has set your browser to redirect to that MS site when an URL cant be found. This is the same as when you type plain text you could also let it redirect to your favorite search engine instead of getting an error message. In other words: it's because of how your browser is set up. RE: sig pics by stoshrocket on 10-14-2005 at 09:15 PM erm.... can any1 see my sig then?? is the pic showin up or is it not showing like on my browser(s) RE: sig pics by Plik on 10-14-2005 at 09:17 PM
quote: I can see it and it needs transparency RE: sig pics by stoshrocket on 10-14-2005 at 09:25 PM finally! thank-you! i will work on that but its gonna be hard... i can't see the sig meself, hehe, thanks! RE: sig pics by Nathan on 10-14-2005 at 09:44 PM You could reinstall firefox? Oh and what version are you using? RE: sig pics by Stigmata on 10-14-2005 at 09:47 PM
i cant see your sig.. quote: RE: RE: RE: sig pics by brian on 10-14-2005 at 09:55 PM
quote: To correct you; CookieRevised, Microsoft have apparently a PTR on the DNS root servers, which is 'http'. Just like the guy from EFnet called samy who has the PTR 'ws.' So, it's not an error, it's a PTR in the root DNS servers. RE: sig pics by CookieRevised on 10-14-2005 at 10:46 PM
maybe but then why aren't other people getting it RE: sig pics by brian on 10-14-2005 at 10:48 PM Firefox redirects http://http to MS, altho the other browsers probably check for link validity, so they wont accept it. RE: sig pics by CookieRevised on 10-14-2005 at 10:51 PM but standard MSIE on a standard PC also gives your normal "cant find page" error message. Shouldn't that be also redirected then? RE: sig pics by stoshrocket on 10-15-2005 at 12:05 PM
quote:but it doesnt show in IE either, but i am using v1.07 for FF, and v6.0.2900... for IE, strange eh? RE: sig pics by surfichris on 10-15-2005 at 01:06 PM
