O.P. Web site translations
Now the new site has been released, when will the translation of the site start?

I would suggest to set up FTP folders for all languages and to give a username and a key to each group. So there is no need to keep sending mails. and much easier for those who use code editors with FTP capabilities (I hope the lang file will be a inc.php file and thus editable in DW ). This weay any correction or change could be done directly. ;)

Well just wondering about the next translation step. :)

toally disagree... what if a member leaves the group and does dodgy things???
it's much better that only patchou has access to the files. (not even Guido has access)

i think the format of the files will be the same as the used by plus (and you'll be able to use my translator  (if the file to translate was a php I'd have to make a new translator :mipdodgy: |-))

ini-files? I think it's very unlikely. An inc.php is much more versatile for php. I don't think GFD did create a sistem to parse ini files, :P.

Btw, I meant FTP folders, not global FTP access. Each language would have a folder and each folder would have different an FTP account. If someone leaves the worst that can happen is that the one who leaves tries to screw the langfile. Anyway, passwords could be changed at any time within seconds and members deleted from the db :P
Btw, If there were bad guys outta there translating, the beta would've been leeched, and it didn't happen. (A)

PHP itself can parse them :refuck:

I was thinking that each group would have one password... silly me... each person can have one, event if they connect to the same folder so there's no problem :P
