O.P. [Bug] MSN 7 Resent logs
In MSN 7, when you open a new chat to someone that you have talkted to before, it displays the last few messages sent, i think that this new feature is causeing a bug in msg plus

when ever  i close a chat, i get an error message:

>>>

An error occurred loading the message history for *********(C:\********\{filename}.xml)

An invalid character was found in text conent.

Line: 47
Position: 3630
Do you Want to try again?

                                [Yes][No]

<<<

if the file is needed i have saved a copy as it exists right now, i do not want to post it as it may contain personal info, please contact me via private message with an e-mail address to send it to.

RE: [Bug] MSN 7 Resent logs
The message you are getting completely comes from MSN Messenger itself; it's not Plus!'s bug. Meanwhile you may want to check these threads:
Error when I close a window
Bug in messenger 7 or Plus! 3.40
